Great game. I loved it until recently. I understand the need for ads. Until recently the ads were only visuals. I could play in a quiet place and view or turn off ads as desired. No more! Now they come on with loud audio. It’s nerve shattering! One more time and I delete the game.
I love scrabble. I like this particular version because you can play it online or off. You can pick your degree or level of skill… like easy, normal, hard, very hard etc. I mainly play with or against the computer. I have this app or game on all my devices. The only negative item is there is no way to challenge a word that is given by the computer
Great game! Would rste it a 5 had it not been for the following…. The new faulty ads constantly cause the user to have to exit the game because they don’t have a “close” or an “x” to click. Now, the app kicks you out after each word is played and the game can’t reopen without restarting the whole phone. Faulty ad programming/buggy. Removing this game until it’s fixed.
I really like playing the game and was excited to find it after they did away with the classic Scrabble game I used to play. It helps keep my Scrabble skills sharp. The only complaint I have is once you start to enter your word it narrows in to the area making it hard to put your tiles into place if it’s a longer word without manually enlarging the area.
The only negative comment is that on Very Hard the game is awfully generous in giving letters that spell 7-letter words, which allows me to win a large percentage of games. In contrast, Extremely Hard is exceedingly difficult to come out the victor. Still, the game plays very fast in that the computer plays its turn immediately and the ads are played at convenient times as not to interrupt play. What’s awesome is how you can get the definition of words so easily when connected to the net.
I have had this app for years on a few different phones, confused as to why my stats changed to my old stats from a previous phone when I got a new one, but the newest update sucks. every so often when I touch the screen to play the whole thing glitches and sends me to the playstore as if I clicked an invisible ad. plus some text speak was added that would never be allowed in a real game.
Challenging! I like that. I play the Extremely Hard level against the “computer”. Can say I win more than lose; however, the “computer” puts up a good fight and vice versa. I have had no glitches, lags or any issues with the app. Not signing in limits features. There are ads every time you exit the game. Annoying, but not worth making a purchase for me.
I LOVE this game. Its challenging, it can be a quick game if you want or a long drawn out game … it’s up to you. I’ve never run into a word the system didn’t recognize. It is truly the old-fashioned crossword puzzle, and if it’s too easy or too hard there are many different levels you can be challenged on. I love ❤ this game it accommodates me on many different levels.. yaaaa!!
I downloaded this because it was single player. I have been playing it on the normal setting. While consistently able to beat it, the opponent plays well, expanding the playing field using long words and has the ability to display the meaning of words played. It does not allow input of non-valid words. It has helped to keep my mind sharper, building on my vocabulary.
I love this game more than similar word games I’ve installed. I’ve got over 50 yrs experience playing word games & it’s a pretty good challenge for me in the Extremely Hard mode. It’s actually beat me a few times!! Playing in Normal mode would be a good challenge for the average player. I highly recommend this game, however they still have a few bugs to work out. It is really disappointing to accomplish a new achievement and then realize you didn’t get credit for it. The game crashes a lot, too.
