I absolutely adore this app! It’s brilliant, collating memories like this is just wonderfull, particularly for those who suffer from a less than stellar memory. I do wish though that there was an option to pay the Pro subscipriotn monthly. I simply can’t justify 600 nok all in one go yearly like that, I’d likely sign up again if there was an option to pay a much smaller amount monthly.
I have been using this app for a few years now and it’s so important to me to be able to track my life like this but it is so disappointing when i go to save a month and the audio is out of sync. it has been like this for ages and the only way I’ve found around it is screen recording, but you can’t see the first few days through the pause button that you can’t make go away. wish there was a fix to this
I really love the app and concept but I can’t stand that I can’t crop portrait videos into landscape in the app. I want all my videos over the year to be landscape but sometimes during the day, the videos I take are not that orientation because I use them on insta or whatever. I have to go and edit each video that I take portrait to be landscape and it seems like it would be so simple to add that option.
The app was fine. The newest update causes it to not open and constantly crashed. (2020) The newest update in 2022 has caused random dates to come up when viewing the mash. I take a video every day, but I forget to immediately upload, so when I do, I have numerous videos for the same date or the dates jump around because a week could go by and I finally realize I didn’t upload my video.
I’ve been doing 1 Second Everyday videos every year since 2013, and at one point could not recommend this app enough. However, this new version for Android can’t export videos higher than 720p, which is an absolute deal breaker for me. In 2020, 1080p should be a minimum since most phones are recording in 4k+ now. This has been on the feature request board and we’ve just been told this probably won’t be changing anytime soon. I guess my 1SE streak of 6 years will be coming to an end.
I love that it’s a really easy video diary. I thought I’d forget to add video every day, but the push notifications make it easy if I don’t already think of it. It makes it easier to remember even mundane days. No technical issues. Great app! Update 1 year in: can’t actually make a video of something I put effort into every day for a year. The mashed video fails to upload to anywhere I put it and I can’t even watch it on my phone. Really disappointed ☹️
So so frustrated that the old version is no longer available, and all my content on it from the past 3 months is just gone without warning. There should have been communication to your users to save the work thus far, or a way to transfer the work over. Doubt I will start over again, and definitely not paying for the 1.5 second option which I used on all my clips last year. My video last year was amazing, so so sad to not have one this year.
I love the app. A few concerns though. First, the sliding window won’t let you use the last few seconds of a video so you need to record for a bit after you get the perfect snip. Second, the latest version adds a watermark to the upper right corner, not crazy about that addition. Lastly, the prompt that brought me here said my review is important to keep the app ad-free…I’d certainly hope it remains ad-free considering I’m using a paid version.
I loved the old app- there were some days when it made sense to have 1.5 second clips or multiple clips, and all of my videos were easily accessible. It was easy to edit clip. Now it’s limited to a single 1 second clip that isn’t as easy to edit and I lost all of videos from my daughter’s first year and a half of life. Not happy with the update and will be looking for another service.
Had the old version of this app for a few years now and really liked it. It was pretty straightforward and easy to use, probably gave it five stars. This feels more complicated. I like to get your snippet for the day it brings up the pictures you’ve taken. Old version was set to remind me to add my one second every day and worked flawlessly, now I have checked, reset everything on my phone but no notifications (yes, I’ve done the exception).
