I have two C110 and I can’t connect because it only shown N version. Will be sending back if I can’t connect with this app
Unreliable. When I first bought my camera (November 2018), this app was amazing. Now it is very frustrating to use. I try to use this as a baby monitor, as that is what the camera was purchased for. Most of the time the app either takes forever to load the camera or it just disconnects. Not good for a baby monitor at all. Also, the app asks if I want to keep watching, and cuts the audio while the popup is active. Why ask that question? If I didn’t want to keep watching I would turn the app off.
I gladly use the camera everyday as a baby monitor. The quality is really good considering its wireless. It didn’t work while we were travelling. The app is pretty basic, but I prefer the simplicity and quickness over style points. Overall very satisfied with this camera.
Initial problems trying to setup wirelessly as the WPS button couldn’t link to router, fed up, I setup using a cable & all went well. Then removed cable & wireless okay but realize antenna was too weak, camera signal kept dropping & was absolutely frustrated! Good thing I use these wall socket wifi extenders, Smacked one unit right beside the camera where adaptor drew its juice & that pretty much solved all my problems. Using w/out SD card. Its v smooth now, been getting push alerts as expected.
There seems to be an issue with the pan tilt control not loading/working on mobile data (away from home). If on wifi on same network everything works fine. SD card suddenly not recording anymore even after reset. Reformatting SD card takes forever it hangs halfway. I had contacted support but no one replies. Very buggy app. Also I am not sure why the app program that audio is a one way street. Maybe thats just a hardware limitation? The camera is worth then price in every way. If this bugs can be ironed out this will be the best home cam for best value in the market out there! Until then.. Using Huawei Mate 20 Pro
The Cameras are very good and easy to set up. However, whenever the Apps hanged and when we uninstall and reinstall again, this Apps works again but those Clips which we viewed and saved it would be all gone. It would be good if there is a way to move or re-save them out before uninstall.
great when it works and a really clear image and sound quality. However, as used as a baby monitor – which they advertise can be used for- its incredibly unreliable, will loose connection in the night, not turn on once weve put our baby to bed etc. Unfortunately we were bought this as a present, otherwise i would have returned it. Incredibly disappointed for the price it cost.
I have been owning this camera for almost a year now!! The sd card formatting feature goes into a loop all the time forcing the end user unable to use the 24hours recording feature every time the SD card memory becomes full!! The end user then has to reset the camera to get rid of the loop again and again!! Tp-Link should look into the issue ASAP because there are many mates of mine which are facing the same issue too!!
The NC260 camera isn’t too bad but quite often disconnects from the Wifi network and cannot be accessed again unless the camera is reset. The app used to send alert notifications to my phone but no longer does that even though the option has been selected for both working and non-working cameras. I used to be very happy with this product but now I’m tempted to demand a refund – TPLink dropped the ball!!
